What does “SEO for AI search” actually change on a page?
Laboe Studio
Direct answer: Direct answers in the HTML, structured data that matches what is visible, and text a crawler can read without clicking — no new markup tricks.
AI search engines read the same HTML that search engines always have. What changes is what gets rewarded: a question answered directly in the first paragraph, structured data that describes exactly what is visible, and text that is there on load rather than behind a click or inside a canvas. There is no special markup that earns a citation.

From our work
On Soul Youth we shipped structured data across organisation, product, article and FAQ pages, partner and OEM landing pages and a full sitemap, with an article programme published through the CMS after client review — we do not promise rankings, we report what moved. The Florist runs per-merchant traffic pages so each shop is discoverable through search as well as through its own WhatsApp link. This Insights page follows the same rule: every answer is in the server HTML, and there is no FAQ or Article schema pretending to be content.
When this matters: Every content page you publish from now on. It costs nothing extra when it is built in from the start, and a rewrite when it is not.
